The aims of the project

CONCELT`s Program for In-service Teachers
Workshops  CONCELT offers workshops and courses for high school teachers on very specific ELT topics. Each workshop consists of three sessions of three hours each. Courses are more extensive and cover between 20 and 45 hours. Registration takes place during the first session of each workshop or course, usually held at APUC, Honorato Loyola 2-40 and Augustín Cueva, near to the sport hall of the University of Cuenca. The workshops are interactive and work with a limited number of 12 participants. Courses are held for larger groups, i.e. up to 20 participants.

Access Center

CONCELT has sheltered an Access Center (books and audio material) for ELT teachers in the library of the Faculty of Philosophy. Any teacher interested in enriching or updating his or her teaching methods can have free access to the library. See list of material.
Team Promotion through

Action Research
CONCELT  offers programs to school based teacher teams to promote the development of skills in reflective teaching. The basic principle used for this activity is Action Research. Teachers and facilitators of CONCELT cooperatively set up an action research project for which contextualized improvement, innovation and change are set out to be the most important target.
