Fragments of session 1 - Leuven Getting to know one another   Teacher As you already know, my name is Ann Gysemberg. I will be 40 in July and I'm married to Willy Schreurs. Together we have five boys (…)As we are a large family, our house is rather big and so is our garden. Our neighbourhood is still very green with woods, meadows, small rivers and hills. That's precisely the reason why we came to live here. There's only one disadvantage to it : the school is 15 kilometres away , so we need the car all the time. I have been a teacher for 17 years and right now I'm teaching English and Dutch, our native speech. (…) In my spare-time - which is almost non-existent - I like to read English novels especially and magazines about houses and gardens. I also love gardening and practising the art of flower arrangement. I can enjoy a good film too, but I don't like listening to music and I hate dancing, noise and traffic jams . (…)I love my family and my profession and it's my aim to combine both as good as possible. Ann (back to top) Students I live in Haasrode, that's a small village a few kilometres from our school and in the neighbourhood of Leuven. I have no pets. I had a little mouse and a cat, but they died a few years ago. Elien (back to top) In my spare time, I like to go shopping, go to the movies, I like listening to music and I'm a lot on the internet, chatting with my friends. Every Friday evening I go to the academy of art, because I like drawing and painting. Hilde (back to top) I'm the second eldest of four children. I have one older brother, Pieter, one younger sister, Annelore, and one younger brother, Johannes. Ellen (back to top) I'm the eldest of three children, I have a twelve year old brother, Pieter-jan and a little sister of 6, Kathelijne. I love happy people, I laugh a lot and somethimes I'm a bit shy. I dream of becoming a fashion designer or a photographer or something like that. Liesbeth (back to top) I'm very tall, 1.88m, I have brown, short hair, I have brown, green eyes. I can forgive people very easily when they have done something bad. I try to be a friend to everybody, so also to you! Jeroen (back to top) I like laughing and I talk a lot. I'm very obstinate and I'm also a little crazy. Later I want to have a nice man and 4 children. I want to become a psychologist or a pedagogist. ... So that's me! Lynn (back to top) I'm Lisa. I live in Heverlee, a town very close to the city of Leuven, which is very convenient, because I can go to the city a lot. That's nice, because Leuven has a great ice-cream shop. Lisa (back to top) In my spare-time I go to movies , go out with friends , play football , play on the computer, listen to music and go to parties. I play football with a club named VK Linden. Klaas (back to top) I have two cats Flop and Oidi. Flop is very lazy but oidi has lots of energy. Jan (back to top) We have a big garden so we can keep a lot of animals: 16 rabbits, 2 chickens,2 fishes and 2 hamsters! They all belong to Laurence. Frederique (back to top) My dog is my best friend.
