Fragments of session 2 - Cuenca
A story from the past

Teacher
I was an exchange student 27 years ago. I travelled to U.S.A Santa Ana, California, a small city near Los Angeles. It was a really exciting trip, because it was the first time I flew to another country. I got a marvellous family. They were very patient with me (…)

My American family had a mobile-home and so we travelled around Nevada, where I could see the snow, Oregon, a green state, and Washington state, located in the North, near Canada. I really visited beautiful places there. We did a lot of very special things together.
(…)
They were very warm, kind and simple people. Also we used to go to my grandparents' farm which was near Santa Ana on weekends where we shared good moments with our neighbours, friends and other members of the family. This farm had a swimming pool, basket and volley ball courts, gardens and some animals.

I will never forget the wonderful time I had there!. You know something They came to Ecuador and visit My family and I five years ago. They also went to Galapagos.

Students
Sometimes I have dreams and these turn out real,I
had a dream about death once, but I didn´t know who was the
person in my dream. Two days later my grandfather
died. There are people who believe that dreams are
admonitions of something that is going to happen, and
that they can help to prevent misfortune or
disgrace. History is full of events in which people
who had strange dreams were seriously shocked when
these, thereafter, turned out real.
What do you think about this kind of dreams?
Do you ever have strange dreams?

On Thursday we were at school with our friends and Maria. Jose painted her
hair with a special shampoo. She had this shampoo in the school, so other
friends wanted to paint their hair too and during the break, they put it on
their hair. The shampoo was on their hair for about 5 minutes so their hair
was painted for the next school hours.

When I was 12 years old I went to bed and approximately at midnight a guy
climbed the wall of my house and got on the balcony.
Luckily, my neighbour saw him and the whole neighbourhood came into my room
to help me while my brother sent me to his room. We were all very scared.

Finally the guy told us that he confused houses, he used to visit his
girlfriend and he got into my balcony by accident. I was really scared then, but
now we are good friends.

Last year I had an accident in a dancing presentation,
it was very hard and cruel for me but I'm doing well
now. I hope to have other opportunities to tell you
more about myself.
In your bad moments you can always talk to me.

Once when I was in kindergarden I bit a friend, her name was Patricia,
because I could not borrow her pencil, but now we are good friends.
