Fragments of session 8 - Cuenca Look into the future Teacher In 10 years' time, I'll still be working as an English teacher in cuenca because we can retire at the age of 55. I'm 43 now. My girls will have graduated: Fernanda will probably be a doctor of Psichology, Cristina, is studying to be a Computer Engineer. Tlhey will be married by then. My little girl, Alejandra will be studying at the university. I wish I could have a Camper Van to go traveling with my husband across South America. I'd like to visit Brasil, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay. If I won the lottery my husband and I would make a trip all around the world. I' would visit you in Belgium... May be I won't spend so much time at work and I may have more time to spend with my family: husband, daughters, sons in law, grand children... In 10 years from now, the world will have changed a lot. There will be more cars. They will be driven by electricity by then (back to top) Students I haven´t thought much about what I will do in 10 years, but I probably will have finished my career and will be working in my granfather´s company. I hope I could get married and have a nice family with 2 kids hopefully twins, it doesn´t really matter if they are boys or girls, but before I get married I would like to travel to Europe. Paola (back to top) In 10 years, I hope to be a professional, and get a good job. I would also like to have a family and probably travel with them to many places. I would also love to have a house on the beach to go there any time I want. Also I would like to go to another country to study. What I mostly want is to be a good wife and mother giving my husband and children the best of myself. Monica (back to top) I probably will have 2 children, I guess they will look like Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez. Maria Agusta (back to top) Well, In 10 years' time I probably will be living in Quito or maybe in Chicago. I hopefully will have become a Commercial Engineer, but I think to continue to studying Languages at the University. Janeth (back to top) I love my city so Isurely will be living here and not in another country. Iwould also like to maintain my friendship with my classmates and you. Tatiana (back to top) In ten years I will be living in Cuenca. I will study to be an engineer. Probably I will get married with a nice man who can make me feel happy, who can understand me and who can make me feel that I'm the most important person in his life. Nataly (back to top) In ten years from now I probably will be living in my own house (Could you design my house....?), in my country, but I wish I could visit others countries. I wiill be a psychologist and an Economist, maybe I will work with my sister in my mother's hospital. I presumebly will be married with a handsome, rich, responsable, honest man and first of all with noble feelings (perhaps impossible). I might be living in Cuenca because I like my city very much, but I probably will travel to many places like: Miami, Venece, Belgium, etc. I think I will be married with someone very presponsable, romantic. polite and handsome.
